Tolerance & mutual respect are identity of an educated society: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the values of mutual respect, tolerance, moderation, balance and the rule of law are the identity of an educated society. He said that a house is a unit of society, adding that when every household becomes the hub of knowledge and plays its part in promoting it, it leads to the formation of an educated society.

In his speech, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the students should value time and dedicate every moment of their student days towards acquisition of knowledge. He said that they should determine the aims and objectives of their life and then work hard, day in and day out, to achieve those objectives. He made it clear there can be no success without putting in hard work.

He said that the hard work done in this period not only benefits the seekers of knowledge throughout their life but the future generations also use its blessings and rewards.
Inter-collegiate contests under COSIS conclude
The four-day long inter-collegiate contests held under the banner of College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences (COSIS) came to an end with an Urdu debate as well as essay writing on the topic of "The reason for our decline is the system, not the people." Students from more than fifty universities and educational institutions of the country took part in the contests. Renowned lawyer Muhammad Azhar Siddique, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Sajjad-e-Nasheen Hazrat Mian Mir Pir Sayyid Haroon Gilani, vice-president Lahore Bar Association M.H. Shaheen, and comedian Hani Albaila also attended the ceremony.
Third day of inter-collegiate contests feature Urdu speech competition
Former national cricketer and renowned leg spinner Mushtaq Ahmed attended the speech competition on the third day of the inter-collegiate contests held under the banner of College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences (COSIS) at the secretariat of MQI. Speaking on the occasion, Mushtaq Ahmad said that Islam is all about character building. He said that we can benefit from the teachings of our beloved Prophet (pbuh) only when we will implement them in all areas of our individual and collective life.

Speaking on the second day of inter-collegiate competitions being held under the banner of Bazm-e-Minhaj, COSIS, President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the teachings of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) offer solution to all the problems humanity is facing today. He said that the state of Madina was such an administrative, political, and social model that it would continue to serve as a template of a welfare state till the Day of Judgment. He said that with the establishment of the state of Madina, the political instability came to an end.
Inter-collegiate competition kicks off with Husn-e-Qirat & Arabic speech contests
A week-long inter-collegiate competition kicked off with Husn-e-Qirat and Arabic speech competitions under the banner of College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences, Minhaj University Lahore. More than 50 male and female students belonging to over 25 colleges, universities and educational institutions from across Pakistan took part in the Husn-e-Qirat and Arabic speech competition.

COSIS hosts Milad feast at the central secretariat
A joint Milad gathering and feast was held at the central secretariat under the banner of College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences. COSIS students and teachers as well as the MQI leaders attended the gathering. The proceedings of the event started off with the recitation of the holy Quran followed by Naat sharif. These gatherings will continue to take place until the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal. Addressing the ceremony, Director Training Prof. Mohibullah Azhar said that Uswa-e-Rasool (pbuh) teaches us to forget our mutual differences and promote brotherhood in a spirit of love.
Moderation & control of desires are guarantor of success: Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Addressing the training session attended by senior students of COSIS, President Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that it is our mission to protect the students from the scourges of extremism, terrorism and drugs and make them a patriotic and productive citizens of this country. He said that cleanliness, mental concentration, control of one's ill-commanding self and human attributes of moderation and tolerance are the guarantee of our success in this world.
Knowledge of no use without character building potential: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addressed the senior students of COSIS on the inaugural day of the two-day training workshop. In his lecture, he said that the subject of ethics and morality needs special care in order to build an educated and civilized society. He said that knowledge is of no use without action, and character. He said that it is a matter of great worry that our educational institutions no doubt impart the teaching of curriculum but pay no need to the imperative of morality and character building.
