Pakistan is outcome of sacrifices of our forefathers: Dr Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi

The students and teachers of COSIS planted a sapling as part of the 75th Independence Day celebrations to express their love for the motherland. The speakers at the ceremony said that the youth are the architect of Pakistan and it is our collective responsibility to educate them about the sacrifices rendered for the establishment of Pakistan. They said that such ceremonies are always a way of honouring the memory of our founding fathers and paying them gratitude for their heroic sacrifices and contributions during the freedom struggle.

The ceremony got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat. The students sang national songs and electrified the atmosphere. Addressing the ceremony, COSIS Principal Dr Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi said that we pay our tributes to the founding fathers and Muslims for their struggle for an independent homeland. He asked the students to celebrate the 14th of August as a day of gratitude. He said that COSIS is making its best efforts to sharpen the abilities of the students under the supervision of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.

Dr Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi highlighted the importance of August 14 in his speech and impressed upon the students to create a spirit of patriotism, stating that with this passion and love for the motherland, we can overcome any obstacle.

Vice-principal Dr Majeeb-ur-Rehman, Sabir Hussain Naqshbandi, students and teachers attended the ceremony in a large number.
